Students reported that with the murals they wanted to show the story of the Ngaruroro River to the public where in the past birds roamed free whereas now with trees having been cut down, birds would have nowhere to sleep. “We’re thankful for the opportunity which by bonding us helped reveal our unexpected talent.”
